Our Stuart Turner Monsoon Universal/Standard Brass Head booster pump is completely dead and silent. It stopped working after being switched off at the wall during a holiday and will not activate, hum, or respond when taps are turned on. Water is flowing normally through the pump via low-pressure gravity, so there is no airlock. Checked and confirmed that 230V mains power is reaching the pump's electrical enclosure, but there is zero low-voltage output from the control board to the flow sensors. The diagnosis points to a failed internal PCB or transformer, likely caused by a power surge on reactivation. The area around the pump has been cleared and the lid of the black plastic electrical control box has been left unscrewed for easy access. We are looking for a pump specialist who carries standard replacement Stuart Turner Monsoon PCBs or capacitors in their van to carry out a board swap.
